New Management Information Systems (MIS) Graduate Certificate Program

Management Information systems (MIS) are a key enabler of dynamic business strategies. Effective governance and deployment of information systems has been shown to provide 20% greater return on assets. There is great demand for dynamic MIS professionals who know how to effectively align and deploy information systems to support business strategy and maximize business performance. Targeted at programmers and junior IT professionals, this competitively priced 18-credit online Graduate Certificate program in Management Information Systems (MIS) can help individuals further their careers by helping transition to Business Analyst and IT management roles, and making professionals more effective in these roles.

This program can be completed entirely online while working full time, in one to two years depending upon the student’s needs. It will begin with 2 credits of MUM’s unique course on the Science and Technology of Consciousness, and continue with 16 credits of MIS courses to be selected from a wide range of course offerings. The certificate program combines study in the University’s highly successful M.S. in Computer Science (MSCS) which includes practical training in U.S. companies.

For students who are new to MUM’s system of Consciousness-Based SM education, this program will provide a unique blend of MIS knowledge, and both the knowledge and experience of how the expansion of consciousness can help launch their career on a faster track.

The MIS Certificate program will be offered beginning in the Fall of 2013. Upon program completion, students will also have the option to complete the MBA degree at MUM with an additional 42 credits of study over two years of half-time study in the Evening-Weekend MBA program, which will also go online in the Fall 2013 semester.
