Mostafa Elzoghbi, MSCS intern student and Senior Software Engineer.
Maharishi University of Management Computer Professionals Program student, Mostafa Elzoghbi, was recently awarded the 2010 Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award - Visual C#. Elzoghbi is currently working in a practical training position at MetroStar Systems in Reston, Virginia. This was the second year in a row that he has received this high honor.
“I am proud to receive this award as a student at Maharishi University of Management which opened many professional opportunities for me in USA market,” said Elzoghbi. “The University courses gave me a broad base of knowledge which I apply on a daily basis in my practical training job at MetroStar Systems.” Elzoghbi said that being an MVP motivates him to increase his knowledge and expertise while staying active in the Microsoft community. The award comes with many advantages, benefits, and access to be very engaged with new Microsoft technologies.
According to his company’s website, “Microsoft’s MVP Award distinguishes its awardees because in order to receive the Award, candidates undergo a rigorous nomination and review process. Annually, the technical community’s best and brightest are bestowed this exclusive honor. Worldwide, there are over 100 million participants across the global technical community vying for the elite acknowledgment and opportunities warranted as a Microsoft MVP; of these participants, there are fewer than 4,000 active Microsoft MVPs.”
